Why are you a member of ICRI?

ICRI is a great group to be involved with for keeping sharp on the state of the art in concrete repair. Keeping up with the constantly evolving technology, materials, building codes, techniques, and equipment can be overwhelming without a solid network of professionals to rely on who can make sense of it all. It’s also a great group for removing the “blinders” that come if one becomes too focused on their particular profession. Engineers can learn from Contractors about issues and inefficiencies with their designs/specifications, Contractors can learn from Engineers about why certain specifications have to be in place, material suppliers can learn from those using their products about problems and complaints concerning their products and can educate these same people on how to alleviate these issues.

What do you do when you are not working? I like to golf, go to Vikings and Timberwolves games, grill/smoke meats, and I’ve recently started to pretend to be a hunter/fisherman.
