Chase Stroschein is a Cement Mason Foreman with Knutson Construction and has been working in the industry for about 15 years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts focused in Sociology of Law and Criminology. Although he pursued work related to his major for several years, he eventually chose to continue working as a concrete finisher and is a third generation finisher with Knutson. He has worked on many projects within healthcare, education, Metro Transit, and numerous other clients with a focus on not only new builds but renovation of existing structures and spaces.

How long have you been involved with ICRI?
This is my first time being involved with ICRI and I hope to bring some hands-on field experience to the group. Although I’m new to this end of things, I have worked with several members and used many products members and their respective companies provide.

Why are you a member of ICRI?
Working mostly in the field on projects daily I don’t always have the opportunity to form relationships with the people who provide materials and services to our construction process. Being a part of ICRI gives me the ability to connect with many of these important industry partners, ultimately helping in providing a quality end product.

What do you do when you are not working?
Wake surfing, snowboarding, and watching motorsports (Formula 1 and MotoGP are my favorite). I also enjoy spending time with my wife and three year old daughter.
